OLD INFORMATION RELATING TO 2011-2012:In (2011-2012) I was teaching 1st and 2nd year English 'lettorato' (LIN-OC / LOC) in the following groups:
B1a - 1st year ('aula')
B2c - 2nd year ('aula')
B2d - 2nd year ('laboratorio')
C1a - 1st and 2nd year mixed ('aula')
This blog was aimed at all students from the above groups - both 'frequentante' and 'non-frequentante'.
It is essential that you follow these blog posts regularly all year, as they contain important information about your English 'lettorato' course and exams, as well as links to handouts, interesting articles, podcasts, etc.
If you are an attending student ('frequentante') then it's really important for your English that you come regularly to class all year round - our lessons are in both semesters. The course blog is not an alternative to coming to class – only a limited selection of information will be posted to the blog.
If you are a non-attending student ('non-frequentante') then it's essential that you contact me at the start of the course regarding your studies and preparation for the exam.
One important point - if you have any questions, curiosities or doubts, then please, please, please - never be afraid to ask! If you have questions to ask, that's good! If you actually ask those questions, that's even better! You can speak to me directly in class (I'm not a scary monster, honest!), via e-mail, via the blog comments or also in my office hours ('ricevimento'). I'll do my best to answer you as soon as possible.
Okay, that's all - I'm really looking forward to working with all of you, in what should be a productive and fun year together!
